Echinoderms include sea urchins that are important for many coastal cultures, but also sea cucumbers and sea stars that are only used occasionally.
Echinoderms include sea urchins, sea cucumbers, and sea stars. Most echinoderms have a flexible calcareous endoskeleton supporting their body wall, from which spines extend. The body is arranged in a 5-sided radial symmetry around the axis of the mouth and they have five rows of tube feet radiating from the mouth that are used to move around and carry food particles.
